Northeast Fresno restaurant looking to hire
The Point Patio Bar and Bistro is scheduled to open next month and there are dozens of positions to fill.

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Work is under way to bring a new locally-owned restaurant to Northeast Fresno.

The Point Patio Bar and Bistro is scheduled to open next month and there are dozens of positions to fill.

It's opening in the shopping complex at Willow and Nees Avenues, right next to Sister's Yoga and Deli Delicious. The owner says the bistro is going to be a family-friendly restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining.

"I live down the street and a lot of families that I know here haven't had a place where they can have an outdoor hangout place," owner Jeff Crocker said.

With the opening of the restaurant, owners are hoping to fill at least 35 positions: including employees for the kitchen and bar. Anyone interested can stop by the restaurant with a resume Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

An exact opening date has not been set in stone, but the owner is aiming for early to mid-May.
