KIDmunity Music Camp teaching young musicians

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Dozens of Valley children are discovering their inner musician, thanks to a summer camp at a Central Fresno church. They're spending all week learning how to play different instruments.

College students and graduates who major in music are there to show kids the basics. Participants are also learning how to read music. They're learning how to play the guitar and the recorder. And when the camp is over, they'll showcase what they've learned with a performance this weekend.

The KIDmunity Music Camp is an annual event, open to the public.
