Woman injured while hiking in Sierra National Forest

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Madera County sheriff's deputies helped a 26-year-old woman who was injured while hiking in the Sierra National Forest.

Rescue crews responded to the area of Greys Mountain northeast of Yosemite Fork at around 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies say the woman suffered injuries to her lower leg, ankle and foot. She was transported to a local hospital.
