Martha Stewart is inviting you to take a look inside her Maine estate, Skylands.

Designed by architect Duncan Candler and completed in 1925, the home was originally built for Edsel Ford of the Ford automotive family, and remained in the family's ownership until Stewart purchased it in 1997, according to Architectural Digest. The 12-bedroom house sits on 63 acres overlooking Seal Harbor on Maine's Mount Desert Island.

The home, which is featured in a new story on Architectural Digest, has retained its original charm throughout the decades, with Stewart still using the Fords' silver, glassware, china, linens and vintage refrigerators.

"I look at myself as the caretaker of an American treasure," Stewart told Architectural Digest.
