FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- An accused murderer is now in the Tulare County Jail, concluding an 11-year-old murder case in Visalia.

Back in 2006, 40-Year-old Raymond Randle was stabbed and killed while trying to break up a disturbance between Andres Espindola and several people in the area of Second Street and Granite.

While issuing an arrest warrant, it was learned that Espindola had fled to Mexico.

Over the course of 11 years, the Violent Crimes Unit had tried contacting Espindola but were unsuccessful. Eventually, with the help of the FBI, detectives caught up with Espindola where he was extradited to Fresno Saturday.
