FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man is recovering after nearly drowning at Millerton Lake on Saturday, officials said.
Millerton Park Rangers and Cal Fire firefighters responded to a call of a possible drowning victim at around 2:15 p.m. It was determined that a man had been underwater for about 90 seconds before he was pulled out, Park Ranger Mark DeLeon told Action News.
A lifeguard performed CPR, and the victim was then able to breathe on his own and had a pulse, according to DeLeon. The man was then transported to Peachwood Medical Center in Clovis to get checked out.
