Police were in hot "pursuit" of a moose on the loose

MANCHESTER, NH. (KFSN) -- A moose on the loose led police on a wild goose chase this weekend.

The animal was seen running down the street and jumping over cars and into yards in Manchester, New Hampshire this morning.

The "pursuit" lasted for a few minutes, as officers tried to guide him back into the wild.

Their approach worked and the moose was last seen heading safely into the woods.
