2 killed in Merced County crash

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A 25-year-old woman and her child passenger were killed Thursday afternoon in Merced County after a head-on collision.

The crash happened on Highway 59 near McNamara Road at around 2 p.m. when the California Highway patrol says a red Nissan tried to pass multiple vehicles and collided with another car.
