FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A man in Australia got a little too close to a great white shark, and it was all caught on camera.
The man was using a GoPro camera strapped to his helmet.
You see him jumping off some rocks, and then his friends tell him there's a shark in the water.
Once in the water, the man comes face-to-face with the creature. Thankfully, the shark never attacked him, and he managed to safely get out of the water.
However, many viewers believe the video is fake and was created with the use of editing software.
Here are a couple comments people left on the YouTube page owned by Terry Tufferson:
" FAKE! 1, why the **** is his gopro only filming in 480p? 2, it is NOT the same shark the markings are different on the first one on the tail, side front fin and back small fin. 3, the shark teleports at 59 to the bottom left and is a tiny bit closer. 4, the first sight of shark clearly doesn't have the bright white dots on its nose. 5 he pops up out of the water no closer than before like 2 or 3 times! But nice editing bro
"I really like how the shark teleports 10 feet directly to its right from 0:58 to 1:00."
The video was posted on YouTube about 13 hours ago, and it's already been viewed over four million times and counting.
