FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A South Valley man has been arrested after he was accused of breaking into a home with a shovel.

Police say 34-year-old Jeffrey Holston smashed a sliding glass door at a home on Howard and Sowell in Visalia. Once inside, investigators say he forced the resident to leave and armed himself with a knife.

Officers eventually subdued Holston with a taser. He faces charges of burglary and assault with a deadly weapon.
