FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- The Visalia Police Department says a woman who was reportedly forced into a Cadillac Escalade, a man and the vehicle have been found.

Police responded to the Ross department store parking lot on Dinuba Avenue near Riggin Avenue in Visalia shortly before noon Saturday for a suspicious circumstance call. When they arrived, a witness told officers that a woman was forced into a black 2007 Cadillac Escalade by a man, possibly against her will, and driven from the area.

The SUV was found in Dinuba around 4:15 p.m., and the man and woman were also located, according to police. Both are now cooperating with the investigation. Authorities have not revealed whether the man and woman know each other.

Detectives say they've determined no kidnapping took place. One person has been detained, but no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Det. Mona Whaley at (559) 734-8117.
