Parlier police officer arrested for domestic violence

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- A Parlier police officer has been arrested on a domestic violence charge Thursday morning. Few details are available at this time. But we're told police responded to a 9-1-1 hang up call from a home in Parlier.

Officers determined there was potential domestic violence situation at the residence. The Fresno County Sheriff's Department was called in to investigate the incident. Which led to the arrest Thomas Rodriguez, 46, of Parlier. Rodriguez is employed as a Police Sergeant at the Parlier Police Department.

Rodriguez has been placed on administrative leave during the investigation.
