Police activity closes part of Highway 180 for short time

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- Traffic is flowing smoothly again on Highway 180 in East Central Fresno after some overnight activity closed the roadway for about an hour.

It started around midnight near Peach Avenue, trapping vehicles on the highway until they could be re-routed to the nearest off-ramp.

Officers and firefighters were able to clear the situation by about one this morning. No one was hurt.
