Fresno County Historical Museum being constructed at fairgrounds

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- We're still months away from the Big Fresno Fair, but organizers need your help.

On Tuesday, officials showed off a new $3 million building that is under construction at the Fresno Fairgrounds. It will be home to a new Fresno County Historical Museum.

The fair is raising funds to help with construction costs through a GoFundMe account, and officials are encouraging locals to donate.

The building will be complete in about three years, but the first phase is scheduled to be done by the fair's opening day in October.
