Law enforcement raises fund for Madera County Special Olympics

MADERA, Calif. (KFSN) -- Several Madera County law enforcement agencies are once again teaming up to raise funds for local Special Olympic athletes.

On Wednesday, they hosted a barbeque fundraiser at the park and raffled off items. Officials say the athletes depend on the money raised by law enforcement agencies to be able to compete.

If you would like to help, you can drop your donation off at any law enforcement agency in Madera County. Madera officers and deputies will also be participating in the law enforcement torch run as it travels from Fresno County to U.C. Davis next month.
