Fatal accident closes State Route 190 in Tulare County

PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KFSN) -- A portion of Highway 190 near Porterville is closed due to a deadly accident.

The Highway Patrol said at least one person was killed in the head-on crash between a pickup and semi-truck. It happened just before four Thursday morning on Highway 190 near Road 184.

Roads are closed in the area on Highway 190 between Road 184 and 192 as officers investigate.

The closure is expected to last until 9:00 a.m.
