Share The Joy And Help Our Community Food Bank

The Walt Disney Company, along with ABC and ABC30, have teamed up with Feeding America to inspire a healthier generation by expanding nationwide access to fresh produce and nutritious foods in local communities where kids and families need it most.

On Tuesday, December 10, during ABC's The Chew, Disney announced a $1.5 million Feeding America investment to help strengthen local produce programs in Feeding America member food banks across the country. Disney's support will expand Feeding America's Produce and Healthy Food Initiative, which enables the network of food banks to develop creative approaches to rescuing and distributing more fresh produce for underserved families and communities.

As part of this program, ABC30 will be presenting our local Community Food Bank with a $15,000 donation. We hope this inspires you to help our Community Food Bank as well. The Community Food Bank serves over 280,000 people each month in Fresno, Madera, Kings, Kern and Tulare counties. During the holidays, even more families find themselves in need. Your donation can help make sure Central Valley families will have enough to eat during the holidays and all year long.
