The low-speed chase happened last night around 11 p.m. Friday near Olive and Calaveras, on the outskirts of the Tower District. Police said they pulled a pit maneuver to force the driver to stop.
Once the car was stopped, officers realized the car was used in a home invasion robbery. Authorities don't believe the driver is connected in the home invasion.
The car was impounded for evidence. The driver Larry Jones was arrested. Officers are trying to figure out exactly how Jones is connected to the car.
