Motorcyclist hospitalized following wrong-way crash in Visalia, police say

VISALIA, Calif. (KFSN) -- A motorcyclist is in the hospital following a wrong-way crash in Visalia on Tuesday morning.

It happened before 11 a.m. near Main Street and Sunset Drive.

Visalia police say a car was traveling in the wrong direction when it hit a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with injuries to her head.

The area was closed for a short time as officers investigated.
