Firehouse Subs opens in Clovis

CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) -- There's a new restaurant in town where you can fill up and help first responders at the same time.

Firehouse Subs opened Saturday in Clovis on Herndon near Fowler.

It's the second restaurant for owners Eric and Melanie Caldwell. Nationwide there are 900 locations along with a foundation that has donated millions to firefighters across the country.

In California alone, the foundation has contributed more than 700,000 dollars in grants.
