Neighbors saw him speeding away from their house on Wren near Giddings, with the little boy in his car.
Police came out to the house and found the victim's body. Then, they got a report that the suspect had crashed his car into a pole just a couple miles away.
They arrested Alvisar at the scene of the accident, the 2-year-old boy wasn't hurt.
