Larry Shehadey dies at 102

Fresno, CA The news of a valley businessman's death is starting to trickle down to the people he helped with his generosity.

Larry shehadey built producers dairy into the biggest dairy in fresno. Later in life, he donated big sums of money to fresno state and to st. Agnes hospital.

In fact, the three million dollars he gave the hospital for its expansion in 2004 was the single biggest gift in the hospital's history.

The hospital issued a statement to action news today. Acting president and c-e-o thomas anderson said quote: "our thoughts and prayers are with the entire shehadey family. We join them in mourning the loss of a great man who gave so much to his family, his career and our community."

shehadey died at st. Agnes yesterday morning at the age of 102.
