One part of a proposed bill would require resorts to post standardized signs warning skiers and snowboarders of hazards. Resorts would also have to provide more in-depth reports on serious injuries and deaths.
Assembly Democrat Dave Jones of Sacramento authored thebill. It comes after a state senator proposed a law last week requiring helmets for skiers and snowboarders under the age of 18.
