After seeing the destruction on TV and in pictures, some of the Fairview students wanted to help.
"Maybe if something would happen to us I think other people would feel bad so I think people should have in mind that other people would help us like we help them," said student Christy Velez.
"Children are just inspired to do something and it gives you Goosebumps when you think about it because it's just from the heart," said Paula Ellingrud with the American Red Cross, Visalia.
Students at Fairview urged other people to donate by showing them pictures from Haiti.
To add $10 dollars to your cell phone bill that will be donated to the Red Cross, text the word "Haiti" to 90999.
