Police say a group of guys went to the complex and broke out some car windows.
That's when another group came out of their apartments and opened fire, hitting the victim in his upper body.
He was in stable condition at Community Regional Medical Center Saturday night.
Officers rounded up suspects at the scene and found some weapons they think were used in the shooting.
