Police say the two victims were walking into the store just as two men were walking out. They had some type of brief exchange. That's when one of the men pulled out a gun.
"It appears they were simply going into the liquor store to make a purchase as they encountered the two males coming out of the store and some type of confrontation they got into it we don't know what was said, but one of the suspects pulled out a gun and shots were fired," said Joe Gomez, Fresno Police Department.
The two suspects took off from the scene. Officers with Fresno's gang task force are out looking for them. They believe the shooting may have been gang related.
