The work of legendary photographer Ansel Adams is on display at the Department of the Interior's Offices in Washington DC.
Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar today unveiled an exhibit featuring 26 murals of Adams -- including some images taken here in the Valley.
A photograph of "Big Bird Peak" at Kings Canyon National Park and an image of Kearsage Pinnacles at Kings River Canyon are in the display.
The original photographs are stored at the national archives to ensure their preservation and protection.
