Republicans Devin Nunes and George Radanovich voted "no", along with every other G.O.P. representative.
"The bill is a disaster for the Central Valley residents and that's why the two of them were hiding from the votes and were unwilling to take a position until late on Saturday because they know this bill is a total disaster," said Representative Devin Nunes (R).
"I would tell Devin Nunes to mind his own business," said Representative Dennis Cardoza (D), "The input from my constituents; the score from the bill and the final language included in the legislation. Then I was prepared to make my decision."
Republicans say voters are unhappy with this bill and will vote many democrats out of office during the mid-term election in November. But the democrats say they're not worried about possibly losing their seats.
