Gage was riding his bike with his uncle back at Ashlan and Marks when he was hit.
The driver of that vehicle drove away from the scene. Gage was taken to the hospital where he later died.
When the boys' father spoke to action news he was holding a confession letter from Malik Kwame.
"That doesn't show me that he was remorseful enough. That just shows me he had no choice because he was caught either way," Gabriel Castillo said.
Kwame is charged with felony hit and run and driving with a suspended license. He bailed out of jail last night.
