Investigators say a man and a woman were thrown off their motorcycle when a man speeding in an Acura crashed into them.
"We do have information that the suspect vehicle was traveling at least one hundred miles per hour prior to striking the motorcycle. Preliminary reports say he rear-ended the vehicle," Fresno Police Department Lt. Gregg Sanders said.
Officers say they found the Acura on a side street, and they spotted the suspect walking along a canal bank.
He's now in jail. The two victims are listed in critical condition at Community Regional Medical Center.
