Serpa Automotive in Visalia Vandalized

VISALIA, Calif. Three Volkswagens inside the showroom were damaged when vandals broke into the building. They also broke windows and covered the walls in obscenities. The company's owner, Frank Serpa, said he had just had the building repainted to get ready for the new dealership. "It's very frustrating. Business is very slow and we've been losing tons of money in the last couple of years ... we don't need any more setbacks. Every little bit hurts," said Serpa.

Back in 2008, vandals damaged more than 30 vehicles at other Serpa dealerships, costing the business tens of thousands of dollars.

Visalia Police say if caught, the suspects in the latest incident could be charged with a felony.
