Louisiana ranks top on 'Laziest States' list

LOS ANGELES

The list was based on time usage data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

It found that the average Lousianan sleeps just under nine hours a night and watches over three hours of TV each day.

In fact, the average Lousianan age 15 and older spends more time watching TV than they do working.

All of the top five laziest states on the list are in the south.

After Louisiana is Mississippi, followed by Arkansas, North Carolina and Tennessee.

Californians, by the way, will be happy to know our state isn't even listed in the top 20 for laziness.
