The Reel Pride Film Festival opened Wednesday night at the Tower Theatre. A special "VIP" pre-party helped kick things off, before screening the film "A Marine Story."
This is the 21st year for the event -- which has grown to be one of the largest gay and lesbian film festivals in the U.S.
More than ten thousand people are expected to attend. The Reel Pride Film Festival runs through Sunday.
