A two-inch pipe developed a leak in the area of Fruit and Gettysburg. Utility workers were able to secure the leak shortly before 1:00 Wednesday afternoon and the evacuation order was lifted.
The gas leak also forced some road closures in the area. No one was injured or reported sick, but emergency crews remained on scene for much of the day to monitor the gas line.
