In Las Vegas, first lady Michelle Obama made the closing argument Monday for one of the most endangered senate democrats. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has been trailing Tea Party Republican Sharron Angle.
"We have to keep moving forward. That is what we have to do today because there is so much at stake right now," said Michelle Obama.
"This is an important opportunity for us to transition from the course where we are right now," said RNC Chair Michael Steele.
The latest ABC News-Washington Post Poll shows that while democrats have narrowed the gap, Americans still prefer republicans by four points in house races.
