The plane landed safely with a puff of smoke and none of the 40 passengers who boarded in Tucson, Arizona were hurt. They said the crew warned them of the emergency about 20 minutes before landing, and everyone remained calm despite a sense of danger.
Passengers boarded a charter bus headed for San Francisco about two hours after the landing. Federal investigators are now looking into what went wrong.
