Huge crowds are also expected on Tuesday at Saint Anthony of Padua where the funeral will be held.
Bishop Steinbock was actually a registered member of Saint Anthony's. Saturday night, parishioners gathered for a memorial mass. Steinbock's brother, Father Leo Steinbock was in attendance.
As for Tuesday's funeral, the church seats 1,300 people, the nearby parish hall seats 1,500 people. Cardinal Roger Mahony of Los Angeles will preside over Tuesday's services.
