Suspected thieves testify in Fresno pot shooting trial

A resident of the home is on trial for murder after he shot and killed one of the thieves as they escaped. The suspected thieves all face their own trials, so we can't show their faces.

Sarah Resendez was in the getaway vehicle and heard gunfire from the yard. She said the group tried to escape, but she heard more gunfire as they headed east on Belmont. "I heard that one shot again, that same noise I'd heard before. I heard it once. That's when he got ... and I yelled 'suspect got shot.'"

Phayvanh Dydouangphan's defense claims the suspects waved a gun toward him, so he shot in self defense. Resendez said none of them had a weapon.
