Rainwater gushed into Stone Corral Elementary School in Seville overnight. Volunteers and staff members spent the day sweeping and vacuuming the water. Some classrooms, cafeteria and auditorium were all flooded, along with five homes. One family had to be evacuated.
More than a dozen other homeowners piled sandbags around their properties to keep the water out.
School officials at Stone Corral hope to have the facilities cleaned up by next month when classes resume.
