West Hills College says it will be up-front with what the school's foundation is paying for her visit -- $115,000.

The controversial 2008 vice-presidential candidate will be the keynote speaker for a new sports complex on West Hills College's Lemoore campus.

The May event has already sold out of its $25.00 and $5,000.00 tickets. Some students already plan on protesting the event.

Student, Miguel Alatorre said, "I think it's wrong we should have gotten someone else someone that actually did something for this country."

West Hills College President, Don Warkentin said, "It'll help us maintain the Golden Eagle Arena as I said we're taking big cut in our general fund dollars and that goes to provide staffing for the arena to provide maintenance repairs equipment."

Many other students say they're excited about Palin's visit. Some believe she will help generate much-needed money for student programs.
