Wrestler expelled for "Butt Drag" files appeal

FRESNO, Calif.

Preston Hill, 17, arrived in Downtown Fresno Friday with his mother and his attorney to file an appeal with the Fresno County Board of Education.

The Clovis School Board expelled Hill from school last week for bullying a smaller and younger teammate.

The senior is also accused of using a wrestling move called the "butt drag" and taking it too far.

Hill maintained his innocence. "During my four years at Buchanan, I have never been accused of bullying or any other sort of misconduct. I am innocent of what I've been accused of doing."

The appeal could last up to sixty days but even if Hill wins - it's unlikely he will be able to return to Buchanan.

His attorney says the 17-year-old is looking to enroll in a school somewhere in Fresno County before graduation.

The accuser's father declined to talk on camera but told Action News he stands by the charges.
