T-shirt Outlet in Southeast Fresno burglarized

FRESNO, Calif.

The burglary happened at the T-Shirt Outlet at Kings Canyon and Chestnut in Southeast Fresno.

Police arrested 18-year-old Sergio Payan and a juvenile after they allegedly smashed a window to the business and stole some T-shirts.

Officers found the two men with large plastic bags full of new shirts in an alleyway behind the store.

The owners of the business say even though suspects were caught, they are still frustrated by the break in.

"No, it's not worth it because we have to pay more for the window, the window's gonna cost more than the t-shirts," Martha Sanchez said.

The business owner said the two suspects only got away with about 18 T-shirts.

She also said the windows were covered by metal security screens so she was surprised they were able to cut them open.
