Woman found dead in Auberry trailer identified

Christine Smith, 55, was discovered inside her home on Auberry Ave. in the Fresno County foothills Sunday morning.

Sheriff's detectives spent the day at the scene trying to determine the woman's cause of death.

They call Smith's death suspicious.

Investigators questioned a man who lived with the victim. They're trying to determine if foul play was involved.

A neighbor told Action News Sunday he heard screaming and yelling coming from the trailer Saturday night.
