The robbery was captured on surveillance video. Authorities released a photo of the suspect earlier this week. They say it's a woman dressed in heavy clothing with her face covered by a surgical mask.
Porterville Police say 40-year-old registered nurse, Keri Jones is the woman behind the mask. Jones was taken into custody Friday. She's accused of threatening the clerk and taking pain medication from the pharmacy.
Authorities tracked Jones down by locating a car spotted outside the pharmacy in video of the hold-up. They served a warrant at Jones' apartment in Terra Bella. She was arrested when officers found the same prescription pain medication in her home.
