Edison Rehires Tim McDonald

FRESNO, Calif.

It'll be McDonald's second go round as coach of the Tigers. He quit following the 2009 season after seven years leading the program.

A Fresno native, McDonald was a high school All-American at Edison before going on to star at USC and then later becoming a 6-time pro bowler with the Cardinals and 49ers.

Tim McDonald replaces Jim O'Brien who resigned after just one season at the school.
