More than 100 kids spent Tuesday morning removing and painting over graffitti in and around Los Banos.
The clean up was a joint effort by city leaders and local churches.
"It makes me feel wonderful to see the youth activity and kids taking part in their town to help clean it up," Los Banos Mayor Mike Villalta said.
"We talk to them all the time about having some pride in your town have some pride in your city and we said pizza after and they said okay," Cheerleading Coach Lori Moore said.
The group plans to organize another clean up later this summer.
