Fresno Police say 3rd chop shop busted in two days

FRESNO, Calif.

Hours later, undercover officers arrested Jeremiah Gutierrez and Antoinette Marshall driving a U-Haul in the area of Manning and Highway 99 in Fresno County.

Police say Gutierrez and Marshall stripped a Honda Civic down to nothing but the frame. Officers say they found some of the parts in the garage of the home on Buckingham, as well as stolen mail and evidence of other crimes.

They've been focusing on chop shops to cut down on auto theft, and they're relying on help from neighbors to find the crooks.

Undercover officer, Brad Alcorn said, "Our community is just as frustrated as our police department and our community is now becoming involved."

Police say this is the third chop shop they've broken up in two days.
