The "Fair Treatment for Farm Workers Now" march started Tuesday morning in Madera and will end in Le Grand.
Before reaching Sacramento, protestors will make several stops along the way.
They're asking the governor to sign a bill, which would give laborers better salaries, enhanced working conditions and the right to overtime pay.
The march will continue from now through September 4th. That's when thousands of farm laborers and their supporters are expected to gather at the state capitol.
