Cheryl Harrington has been a fan from the very beginning.
Erica, Tad, JR and Kendall; they're all part of the "All My Children" family but Erica Kane has always been Cheryl Harrington's favorite.
Cheryl says, "I grew up with Erica, she was like a sister to me." She started watching the show when it first aired in 1970. She was 15 years old.
Harrington and her daughter Ashley love to watch the show together.
Former television critic Lanny Larson says there's a reason the show had such a long run, adding, "They dealt with homosexuality for a great many years in a great many ways. They talked about unwed mothers, about abortion. They dealt with all kinds of issues; even things like terrorism have found their way on all my children".
