Flaggers will be stopping traffic throughout the day between Temperance Ave. and Quality Ave. as they put the finishing touches on the new section of Highway 180.
Motorists are being advised to use alternative routes to reach their destinations. Officials suggest using Jensen or Belmont to travel east or west, or using McCall or Academy to travel north or south.
The disruption is all leading up to the grand opening of the stretch of roadway Wednesday evening.
The work on Highway 180 is a part of a $30 million project, funded by Measure C.
